Fall HS sports are very important in the New England states. Fall sports and activities RI students look forward to include football, cheer leading, gymnastics, cross-country, soccer, tennis and volleyball.  Not every sport requires state of the art equipment, but there are uniforms, there is travel, insurance, promotional costs, and money allocated to these activities may just not be in the budget.
